100+ Book Challenge

As the New Year rolls in, I simply can't resist participating in a few reading challenges, so I'll be listing them throughout the week.

First on the list is the 100+ Book Challenge hosted by Freda at Freda's Voice.  From her blog:

Welcome to the first ever reading challenge here on Freda's Voice that we are hosting!
I decided to do this challenge due to my love for it, and my frustrations with other blogs that have hosted it. I'm not calling anyone out, but to have a successful challenge you need to keep up to date with the Linky lists, postings each month for your participants, and sometimes prizes help. I aim to do those and maybe more. We'll see how it goes, but I'll at least keep things up-to-date.

So the rules are as follows:

1. Create a post, but list as you read, either a blog or GoodReads, somewhere I can see it, and leave your url to that post in the Linky below.
2. Read some books. Any books. No limit in pages, even the phone book counts if that is your fancy. Just read!
3. That's it!

I may have prizes, haven't decided yet.

*UPDATE: I will be having surprise prizes based on reviews. I'm not sure how many, but at least one each  month!*

Each month a new Linky will be posted.

Easy-peasy, right?  So there you have it! I'm only going to count books that I start in 2014 itself, so I will simply add them to a table below as I read them.  I plan to do a quick challenge update post each month showing my progress in each reading challenge.

If you're joining, let me know in the comments and feel free to link up your starting/signup post so I can visit and cheer you on!

    1. Thanks for hosting, Freda! Yours is the first reading challenge I've posted so far, but I have a few more to get up as well!

  2. Looks like a great challenge - she says closing her eyes so she won't be tempted! Hmm a table now that is an interesting idea. Will be back to see what that looks like.

    1. I have two on my list that utilize a table; it will be interesting to see how it goes! (don't close your eyes; join in!) :)

Comments make me feel all squishy happy inside, so drop a line if you see or read something interesting! PLEASE don't leave links to your blog or page unless the post you're replying to specifically asks you to leave a link!
Sorry that I had to re-enable word verification, but without it, there was far too much spam coming in - the only other option would have been to require only registered (Google, OpenID, etc.) comments, which might require you, the commenter, to go through even MORE steps just to comment!
