Poker Stars WBCOOP tally

So for those who don't want to go through the replays of my participation in this blogger tournament, here is a recap:

There were seven tournaments.  I was able to play in four of them (although I was having problems opening up the software for one, so by the time I came in, I was seriously short-stacked and unable to get into the running, so maybe I should say I played in 3 1/2 of them!)

In tournament 3 (the one I came into short-stacked), I placed about 918th out of about 1800 runners - no money.

In tournament 4, I was able to place 2nd and win a $215 SCOOP tournament ticket.  SCOOP is a tournament series that Poker Stars runs around March/April.

In tournament 5, which was 8-game, I kept up purty good for a while, then fell flat and ended the game at about 618th out of about 1700 players (I may be wrong on that, it may have been 1400, I don't remember). No money for me.

In tournament 7, the Main Event, I placed at 110th for a SCOOP tournament $22 ticket.

So 50% placement in big tourneys; not too bad.  Wish I could do that ALL of the time!

Anyway, Poker Stars is one of the oldest, longest-running online poker sites.  They have a sterling reputation and I've never had a problem cashing out there.  You can play for free or for real cash money.   If you'd like to sign up to play, go to their website at http://www.pokerstars.com and download the software.  Start playing and winning!

If you'd like to use me as a referral, you can.  My name on Poker Stars is jewelknits.  If you don't want to use me as a referral, that's OK too :)  Actually, it's been so long since I downloaded the software, I'm not even sure that there's a space for referrals, and since I'm not an affiliate, I likely wouldn't get any credit for a referral, but, hey!  ya never know!

Wish me luck in the SCOOP tourneys coming up!
