October Wrap Up - Books Finished, Books Reviewed, and Challenges

I've decided that it might be a good idea for me to start keeping track of some of my book-reading and reviews and challenges and such.  It would be far too ambitious of me to do this every week, so I've decided that I will just draft a post at the beginning of the month and add to it as I finish each book and/or review and/or challenge.

So on we go:

BOOKS READ DURING OCTOBER (including review links if applicable)

Book 1 - Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs - part of my Banned Books Week/BanThis!/SPEAK Loudly challenge. - Review Link

Book 2The Tortilla Curtain by T. C. Boyle - also part of the Banned Books Week/BanThis!/SPEAK Loudly challenge - Review Link

Book 4 - Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins - Review Link

Book 6The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson - Review Link

Book 7Room:  A Novel by Emma Donoghue - Review Link

Book 8 - The Life O'Reilly by Brian Cohen - Review Link

Book 9 - The Eyes of Willie McGee by Alex Heard - Review Link

Book 10 - City of Tranquil Light by Bo Caldwell - Review Link

Book 11 - Under the Dome by Stephen King - Review Link

Book 12 - Draculas by Blake Crouch, Jack Kilborn, Jeff Strand, F. Paul Wilson - Review Link

Book 13 - Strangers at the Feast by Jennifer Vanderbes - Review Link

Book 14 - Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt

Book 15 - The Passage by Justin Cronin

I'm really trying to get a good mix of my personal books and review books in; so with 8 review books and 7 of my own books, that's a pretty good mix (and THREE of my books were BIG!!  Almost tomes!)  Somehow, I still feel as though I didn't get ENOUGH done, but .. hey!  Almost all of them were very good reads!

BOOKS REVIEWED DURING OCTOBER (read prior to October):

Red Hook Road by Ayelet Waldman - Review Link

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn - Review Link

CHALLENGES:

Lit Bites Scared Sh*tless Challenge - woot!  Finally actually completed ALL of the books I slated for myself!

Dewey's 24-hour Readathon - well, I didn't do so great at this one, BUT there's always the next one in April!

So what books did YOU get to enjoy this month?  If you have your own wrap-up post, please feel free to link to it in your comments!
